As much as I love fashion, beauty and makeup, I'm tired of the media portraying stick like models as everyday women. We come in all sizes and colors and we are all beautiful. In our lives, we will be loved and admired for how we look but may never realize it. We are too worried about losing weight or keeping up with the Jones'. I say, be who you are and never apologize. Love life and be an example for our youth. Carry the torch and show love and devotion to every level. Be proud if lipstick makes you feel good and be thankful if you realize you don't need the lipstick today because you already are beaming without it. Be happy because that is true beauty, real beauty.

Real Beauty is from With In
Real beauty is not something found on the outside. Real beauty is accepting that no one is perfect and nothing is perfect. Real beauty is accepting yourself including all scars, blemishes and wrinkles. Real beauty is being the best person you can be and knowing that what you have and what you have done is enough.

When All Else Fails, Wear Makeup!
If you are a busy mom like me, you know how easy it is to put yourself last on the list. Some days, I admit, I don't even get out of my pajamas! As great as that feels to do once in a while, it's really important that you give yourself the time to enhance the natural beauty you already possess!
Here is my makeup routine every morning. It takes me about fifteen minutes:
1. First I wash my face and moisturize
2. Then I put on sunscreen if my moisturizer doesn't have an SPF
3. Next, I apply primer (I use Photo Finish by Smashbox)
4. Now you can apply concealer on your eyelids, under your bags, and on blemishes
5. While that all sets, I pencil in my eyebrows and set with powder
6. Then I apply my foundation. (Some days I use my fingers, while others a foundation brush)
Remember: Less is always more!
7. Then I set my foundation with a powder (I love Baremineral's Mineral Veil)
8. Next, I apply eyeshadow on my lids
9. Then I take a tiny brush and apply black eyeshadow (like eyeliner) to the top of my lashes for definition (Yes, I am a blonde and this works for me!)
10. Then I add a lighter brown to my bottom lashes (If you have black lashes, you can use the black on the bottom, etc.)
11. Then I curl my eyelashes and apply mascara
12. Next, I apply bronzer and blush
13. Finally, I line my lips with lip liner and fill in with lip gloss and/or lip stick.
If all of this seems like a lot of work, or you don't have the time... here is my "Quick Fix":
1. Moisturizer
2. Foundation
3. Blush
4. Mascara
5. Lip Gloss
And WAH LAH... You will be a HOT mama!
Good Luck!

Get a Morning Routine!
When you get busy with the hustle and bustle of motherhood, remind yourself to always do at least one thing a day specifically for YOU.
You can start off my giving yourself the time you deserve in the morning. Go ahead and PAMPER! If this means setting the alarm before the baby wakes up, DO IT. Here is a guideline to follow to help you start off the day right.
1. Indulge in a hot shower
2. Rub your favorite lotion all over your body
3. Put on your outfit you laid out the night before
4. Fix your hair and makeup
5. Make yourself a hot cup of coffee or whatever you prefer
6. Give thanks to God and start your day's activities
You can even make this list better by adding a morning workout, such as to a yoga tape. Also, don't forget that fixing breakfast is good not only for your family, but for you!
